Welcome Back Swimmers!

It is the start of the Fall 2008 season!  We hope everyone had an awesome summer and is ready to start swimming again. Our first official practice will be Wednesday August 27 at 8:30pm. We will have an informational meeting for new swimmers right before this, at 8pm in the classroom at the pool. Feel free to attend if you would like, but it's not necessary if you've already been on the club. If the officers could come, though, that would be great.

 

Also on that Wednesday is the involvement carnival from 10-2 (setup at 9). This is the biggest way that we recruit new members.  Last year we recruited about 50 new members there!  If you are someone who wants to speak with someone from the club, and is not sure about joining, this is the place to do it!  You can't miss the carnival on the campus commons!  Look for us, we'll be there!

 

If anyone just can't wait until next Wednesday to start swimming, the pool will reopen tomorrow at noon and be open for its regular open swim hours,  We are looking forward to seeing everyone again and to a great season!
