We are back from Duke University! Fourteen of us attended the Duke Blue Devil Relays Meet in Durham, NC. Women Seahawks placed 5th. Men Seahawks placed 5th. Combined men and women placed 5th overall! There were about 12 teams attending, so we are happy with our performance. Everyone swam really well, and everyone seemed to have a great time.
After the meet, the club had a social at Flaming Amy's Burrito Barn on Oleander Dr., and relaxed at Andrew's apartment afterwards. We got to know some of our new swimmers better, played some twister, and can't wait until the next social!
The team is now getting ready for the Nationals meet at UNC towards the end of April.
